Ericsson working with Zain in Ghana and the Milennium Cities Initiative from Columbia University's Earth Institute, has connected schools from Africa into the heart of America, schools in Washington DC, so they can share their lives and learnings with each other in real time. What was not even a dream 10 years ago is now becoming a reality all over the world. March 3rd is "World Read Aloud Day" and to celebrate, our connected schools will not only share their lives and learnings but also their stories... with a tree. Here at Ericsson we have created the world's first connected tree, a tree with feelings and awareness and the ability to respond. We are asking our students to share their stories with the tree and we invite you to do the same.
How to read to the Tree?
